It could be if you used more. You could also try rum extract instead, or skip it altogether 🙂

This came out amazing Martina! Adding a splash of rum into the pecan filling was genius. It came out so rich and yummy—best holiday pie ever! Well, not holidays yet but on my list for sure! 😊

This pecan pie was good but I think I’ll skip the rum next time. Maybe I used a bit more than the recipe so that may be the issue. It was a bit too overwhelming 😀
